Before and after your Microblading for eyebrows treatment
You can take some very simple steps to ensure the best possible results from your treatment and avoid any potential problems.
As part of your treatment, you will receive detailed aftercare advice but as a general rule, follow these broad recommendations:
- Keep the treated area dry for up to 10 days
- Ditch the makeup for a week to 10 days to allow the pigment to fully settle into the skin
- Don’t scratch the area or pick at any of the minor flakes that form as part of the normal healing process
- Avoid exercise or any activity that is likely to cause you to sweat until the area has healed completely
- Keep your hair away from your eyebrows – alice bands, scrunchies and hairbands are your friends for the first couple of week
- Avoid using any creams containing hydrocortisone steroids for 10 days prior to your treatment, and for the same period afterwards, or as advised in your post-treatment care discussion
- Keep the treated area dry for up to 10 days
