Unsuitable Candidates for Semi-Permanent Makeup

Even with the very minor risks, there are certain conditions that are unfavourable for micropigmentation. Some of these include:

Skin problems

People with severe acne, eczema, dermatitis, and sunburn should avoid microblading

Autoimmune disease

People with autoimmune diseases may also avoid semi-permanent makeup as they can interfere with the immune system and cause complications.

Transmittable blood diseases

Micropigmentation involves slight cuts and bleeding. Hence, individuals with HIV, and Hepatitis are unsuitable candidates. 

Pregnant and nursing mothers

Due to the hormonal changes going on in the body of pregnant and nursing mothers, this process isn’t carried out during this stage.

Under 18s and older people are also advised against it.

Suitable Skin Types for Micropigmentation

There are 4 basic types of skin.

While microblading is a bit selective, ombre powder brows promise to go with all skin types including sensitive and oily skin. BB glow and Nanoblading are great for all skin types too.
